"Rose branch" red coral pendant

A pendant charm of the unique branching of red coral.
It has a deep red color with the transparency, which is unique to Japanese red coral. When worn, it brightens around your face. This is a precious coral that is loved all over the world but is not similar to any other gemstone.

The simple metal fittings are oval, allowing the chain to pass through easily. You can enjoy it as a pendant by threading it through your necklace chain, or you can freely arrange it with a bracelet or hoop earrings.

Red coral is a precious coral that lives in the deep sea, at depths of more than 100 meters, where no light reaches. It grows very slowly, taking about 50 years per centimeter. Red coral, endemic to Japan, grows in scattered habitats and is classified differently from the reef-building corals that create coral reefs.

Tosa offshore, Kochi Prefecture, is the main production area of red coral. When you visit Tosashimizu Port, you can see fishing boats carrying colorful coral fishing nets coming in and out of the port. At su Ha, we only use red coral with obvious traces that is landed off the coast of Tosa and has been through a log auction.
