“a bean” Red coral two-finger ring

Two-finger ring that paints an image of a coral sitting softly upon one’s finger. The thin and simple arm will not interfere with the fingers’ movements and can be stacked together with other different rings.

The arm of the pearl ring is positioned a little off-center to create a fit as if the large pearl has attached itself to the base of the finger.

________________________

Red coral is a precious coral that lives in the deep sea, at depths of more than 100 meters, where no light reaches. It grows very slowly, taking about 50 years per centimeter. Red coral, which is endemic to Japan, grows in scattered habitats and is classified differently from the reef-building corals that create coral reefs.

Tosa offshore, Kochi Prefecture, is the main production area of red coral. When you visit Tosashimizu Port, you can see fishing boats carrying colorful coral fishing nets coming in and out of the port. We only use red coral with obvious traces that is landed off the coast of Tosa and has been through a log auction.
