“Rose twig” earrings
Small branch -like red coral earrings.
The unique outline of each piece comes from the natural branching of the original tree. Although the outlines are almost completely different, the nuances of the branching and the color and luster are the same because the pairs are cut from the same branch.
The deep red color, with the transparency unique to marine creatures, is a color unique to Japanese red coral. Just wearing one bead on your ear will brighten up your face. This precious coral is loved all over the world, unlike any other gemstone.

Red coral is a precious coral that lives in the deep sea, at depths of 75 to 300 meters, where no light reaches. It grows very slowly, with a growth rate in diameter estimated to be 0.21 to 0.36 mm per year. Red coral, which is endemic to Japan, grows in scattered habitats and is classified differently from the reef-building corals that create coral reefs.
Tosa offshore, Kochi Prefecture, is the main production area of red coral. When you visit Tosashimizu Port, you can see fishing boats carrying colorful coral fishing nets coming in and out of the port. We only use red coral with obvious traces that is landed off the coast of Tosa and has been through a log auction.
