"CAKE" Black Bamboo Stud Earrings

Long black bamboo earrings cut from a bamboo forest in Kyoto. Half of the black skin has been shaved ever so thinly with a knife to create a bi-color look. The color of the bamboo, covered only in natural wax, gets deeper over time. 

The earrings, when worn, will swing and carry the soft sound of bamboo to one’s ears. 

The K18YG ring that connects the top and bottom bamboo is the accent.

The long earrings made from black bamboo are finished in two colors by thinly shaving off one half of the black outer skin with a blade. Both the black and light brown are the natural colors of the black bamboo.
