“piece by piece” Akoya keshi pearl stud earring

A single stud earring made from Akoya Keshi pearls. The charm of Keshi is its free-spirited appearance. Keshi pearls are born by chance inside the mother oyster, drifting freely within the oyster and piling up transparent layers of pearl.

The natural color of unbleached and untoned pearls shows complicated colors within their organic outlines. The purity and complex colors of Akoya pearls, nurtured in Japan's seasons, make them exceptionally beautiful among other pearls around the world.

You can wear them alone on one ear, or pair them with your favorite pieces. We also recommend an asymmetrical pair with the “daughter” pearl single earring/baroque.

These Akoya Keshi pearls are a by-product of the Akoya pearl cultivation in Goto, Nagasaki. Please explore the story of Akoya Keshi pearls.
